"Patti! We shall head off on a new mission! MISSION, SAVE LIZ FROM ANY DANGER!" Kid totally ignored Stein, pointing to Patti. He was going to save Liz and make his team whole again! "Patti can tell if the handwriting is Liz's, right?" Kid asked, grabbing Patti's arm and holding it up.

"Itai! Kid-kun, that hurts!" He was holding onto her arm a little too hard for her liking. "Yeah, I could tell if it was hers or not..." She said after pulling her arm away. "I would have to look at the note though, Stein-sempai." She looked down at the coffee and decided to try a sip before just throwing it out.
"Couldn't be THAT bad, could it...?" She took a sip and sat there for a second. "What's your problem? I think it tastes great..." She kept drinking it.

Stein pushed his glasses up his nose a little more. I can't say much, I used to dip my cookies in salsa... "Well... I have the note here." He pulled the small piece of paper out of his pocket. The paper was completely white except for the elegant embroidering around the edges. It looked like an invitation, but it wasn't. The handwriting didn't really match the embroidery though.
"Well... I would be able to tell if she wrote an essay once in a while... I would want to get Spirit to join our search, but he's having problems of his own. I could organize a search party of other people, but I'm not sure how many people would join." He sighed a deep sigh, knowing that there would be only a few more people who would want to join.

"I am strong enough to look for Liz, and with you Professor we will be on our way to finding her quicker than with a large group!" Kid exclaimed. Has she run away? If so... Why would she even run away in the first place? Was it me...? Kid thought to himself, quickly perking up when he heard something about a note. Kid quickly took the piece of paper out of Prof.Stein's hand, and thrust it in front of Patti. "Is this Liz's handwriting, Patti?!" He asked quickly, jumping on the spot a bit, the piece of paper making small annoying crumpling sounds.

Patti looked down at the piece of paper before taking it from Kid-kun's hands. "It is her handwriting alright... Though, I have no idea where she got this paper. It looks so expensive..." She took a sip of her coffee while reading over the note a few times. "So, besides us, you're the only person to know that she went missing?" Patti started to have strange thoughts about Stein-sempai. Maybe he knew more than he was telling them? Patti set the note on the table, her coffee next to it. "Well I wouldn't know where to look first." She looked up at Stein-sempai. "Do you think she said anything to anyone before she left?"

"I doubt anyone knows besides us for the moment." Stein shook his head. Now where should they start? "I suggest we go around town first to see if anyone has a lead." He got up and stretched then turned the screw in his head. "We should split up too. Maybe Kid should ask around the school, Patti can ask around the town, and I can ask at the market. Or should we stick together?"

Kid was already out the door, getting out his board as he ran. "I'll ask around school!" He shouted behind him, throwing down his board and getting on. He focused on the fastest route, the wind whipping his hair in all directions, and stinging his eyes. He couldn't fight without Liz, what was he going to do? His honourable father wouldn't be proud of him if Liz stayed lost forever... Or never came back. He slowly came to a stop at the school, blinking a bit to make sure his eyes hadn't dried up, then walked inside, packing his board away.
